Cyber-Security & the Dark Web

February 2017

In this information-packed evening, we met and talked with industry leaders about navigating the digital world and the very real and pervasive risks that we face as individuals, companies and nations.

In 2007, what experts consider "Web War I" took place in Estonia when Russia flooded national networks, shutting down newspapers, financial institutions and communications.Ten years later, we are even more reliant on the Internet and smart devices are everywhere.

Our expert panel discussed the regulation of the internet, as well as legislative efforts to protect our privacy, and discussed the dark web, its hidden dangers, and how our data can be tracked or used. And if our information is compromised, what rights do we have? What can we do?
